Days after President Maithripala Sirisena stripped Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe of key subjects that had been assigned to his ministries, the two leaders were seen together for the first time at a public ceremony when they came for the Yovunpura youth gathering at Nikaweratiya yesterday. One need not be a body language expert to read their minds from the way they were clasping their hands, what with the no-confidence motion just three days away.
