Step into a store that takes you beyond porcelainware
Dankotuwa Porcelain, designers of world-class Sri Lankan porcelain tableware, unveiled their two-storeyed Signature Showroom at Guildford Crescent, Colombo 7 on December 7.
The Signature Showroom features the finest of Dankotuwa Porcelain’s tableware and giftware taking the brand to the international market. The store also houses global brands such as Portmeirion and Lenox, providing consumers a luxurious and sophisticated shopping experience.
Royal Fernwood Porcelain, a well-known brand considered to be more youthful and vibrant is also available at the Signature showroom. Chief Operating Officer, Royal Fernwood Porcelain Limited, Yohan Fernando said they had enhanced the diversity of the store’s collection by adding the Royal Fernwood brand into the mix.
Chief Guest for the event, Rajan Asirwatham, Chairman, Dankotuwa Porcelain PLC said, “Our overall growth plan for 2020 includes several exciting initiatives such as this Signature Showroom aimed at taking the group to new heights as a world class manufacturer of premium porcelain tableware.”
The showroom goes beyond displaying porcelain products, offering many delightful experiences to customers including the section on the history of porcelain and local pottery traditions, a café run by the Galle Face Hotel and an outdoor verandah where you can relax overlooking the Independence Square.
The store also showcases designer kitchen sets, dinner sets and tea sets arranged in traditional and modern dining settings, glassware, pottery and mugs along with elegant collections of cutlery.
