Vimarshana to head Merc TT

The 59th Annual General Meeting of the Mercantile Table Tennis Association (MTTA) chaired by President Vimarshana Gammanpila was held at the Nildiya Hotel (Pvt) Ltd, Mount Lavinia. After completing a successful event calendar MTTA has appointed a new committee for the year 2016/17 term. The event calendar for 2016 will be the Knock-out Championship (September 8 and 9), League Team Championship (November 24 and 25) and Veteran and Open Tournaments in 2017.
The newly elected office-bearers are:

Treasurer: Gamunu Prabath
Vice Presidents: Gamini Moraes, Jagath Priyankara, Ashan Wikramanayake

Asst. Treasurer: Janith Nimantha Perera
Committee: Prabhath Dunminda. Joe Abeysiriwardena, Susantha Nugawela and Yohan Prabhoda.
