Kenny Wizz brings the King of Pop to Colombo

Who can forget the King of Pop? Kenny Wizz from California, USA has been performing Michael Jackson songs for the past 12 years and since the death of the legendary singer in 2009, he has continued with the History tour PT2 which can be described as a musical biography of Michael’s life.
Now Kenny Wizz is heading to Sri Lanka for a one-off show on May 29 at 7 p.m. at the BMICH. ‘The King Of Pop Experience’ will be one of the few choreographed musical concerts to be staged in Sri Lanka and will be a treat for all Michael Jackson fans irrespective of their age.
DK Promotions which has produced over 100 shows to date is putting together an unforgettable musical concert to pay tribute to the late Michael Jackson. The concert will be of two hour duration.
Kenny Wizz acclaimed as the best Michael Jackson Impersonator worldwide will perform 24 of the most popular songs of Michael Jackson. Some of the songs lined up for the concert are Billy Jean, Beat It, Thriller, Blame it on the boogie, Ben, Dangerous, Human Nature, We are the world, Rock with you, Wanna be start ’n something, Smooth Criminal, Black or white, Out of my life, Heal the world, They don’t care about us and more. The tour party will comprise dancers, backing band and back up vocalists.
Damayantha Kuruppu of DK Promotions says that one has to be there to believe what Kenny Wizz can produce with his similarity in looks, performance and voice to Michael Jackson. “I couldn’t believe it was someone else performing and not Michael,” added Damayantha.
