New DIMO Batta to further facilitate Sri Lanka’s commercial transport
View(s):Sri Lanka’s small commercial vehicle market has seen a surge in Sri Lanka with the increase in selling and transporting consumer items using DIMO Batta trucks countrywide.
With the picking up of mobile commercial Dimo Batta Truck service in the country, Diesel and Motor Engineering PLC (DIMO) together with Tata Motors India has launched a new mini truck – the DIMO Batta XPRESS (Tata ACE Xpress) to meet the needs of Sri Lankan street sellers and transporters.
With 40HP turbocharged and intercooled engine, the DIMO Batta XPRESS is the most affordable cargo transport solution in Sri Lanka, DIMO revealed in a media release. The DIMO Batta XPRESS has been designed and developed to maximise revenue of the transport operator by ensuring more trips and more load carrying capability with the lowest turnaround time, thereby meeting requirements of both, intra and intercity transportation, the media release said.
The vehicle is strategically designed to perform across all terrains and will be an all-rounder in this segment, helping the operators to elevate their business, it added.
Launched at a price of Rs. 1.75 million, the DIMO Batta XPRESS is available in an attractive Metalic Champaign Gold colour at all the 41 DIMO branches.
