A century by Ramesh Nimantha and a match bag of ten wickets by Chanuka Dilshan helped St Servatius College register a ten wicket win against St Sylvester’s College at the Uyanwatte Stadium.

St Servatius batting first scored 268 runs. Ramesh Nimantha scored his second century for the season with a well compiled 112 off 151 balls with eleven boundaries and a six. Sivakumar Tyron captured four wickets.

St Sylvester’s were bowled out for 121 runs in their first innings by Ashen Deemantha and Chanuka Dilshan who captured three wickets each. Hansamal Perera topped the score card with 34, Being asked to follow on, St Sylvester’s succumbed to the spin of Chanuka Dilshan 7/54 and Ashen Deemantha 3/40 to be all out for 156. Harsha Madushan scored 41 runs.

The Servatians needing 10 runs to win in three overs reached it in just five balls without losing a wicket.
