A double drum roller has been delivered to Mahinda College, Galle help in their quest for excellence in cricket.

Naveen Yapa Seneviratne a renowned entrepreneur who has interests in Sri Lanka and England donated this machine worth Rs. 1.5 million to his alma mater.

A large gathering of distinguished former cricketers of Mahinda in the calibre of Upul Chandana, Lasith Malinga, Dileepa Wickramasinghe, Gajaba Pitigala and P.H.K.H. Ranasinghe were present at the ceremony.

The pictures show the roller that was handed over to the school and relevant documents with regard to the donation being handed over to the Mahinda college principal Mr. Gamini Jayawardena by Naveen Yapa Seneviratne. The event was organised by the “Mahinda Society” led by SP Chandana Gunawardena.
