Hansani and Udaya crowned as most outstanding players
The curtain came down of the 68th Junior and Senior Nationals Table Tennis Championship organised by the Table Tennis Association of Sri Lanka at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium tables recently.
Hansani Piumila of Visaka Vidyalaya and Udaya Ranasinghe of Vidyartha College Kandy were crowned as the Most Outstanding Girls’ and Boys’ Players of the Tournament respectively.
Udaya Ranasinghe won the Double Crown by emerging winner in the Under 18 Boys’ Doubles and Singles while Hansani won the Girls’ Under 15 Singles event and Under 18 Girls’ Singles to be outstanding at the championship.

National Savings Bank, Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel, Ceylon Cold Stores and Serendib Sports co-sponsored this year’s tournament where girls and boys from almost every school in the island took part.
