The game that stole the limelight at this year’s competition was the Veteran’s Men’s Singles event. Two former Sri Lanka TT stalwarts Lalith Priyantha of Butterfly Sports Club and Dr. Nimal Lucas of Veterans TT Association displayed their superiority watched by hundreds of enthusiastic present day players. Both showed that they had not lost the former touch in their heydays and exhibited a variety of well controlled and well placed shots as the game went on to the fourth set to decide the winner.
