Nishantha and Lahiru take men’s doubles title
Nishantha Fernando partnered by Lahiru Eshan defeated the combination of Mohamed Shaheed and Anas Ahamed in the Men’s Doubles to emerge champs at the 12th Rangers Open Ranking Carrom Tournament worked-off at the Sri Lanka Carrom Federation Headquarters Maharagama over the week-end.
In the Women’s Doubles Joseph Roshita and Chalani Lakmali will meet Maduwanthi Gunadasa and Madusha Vithana in the finals later this week-end.

Lalith Kumara emerged the winner at the Veterans Singles by registering a 2-0 victory over Kaviranga Perera.
In the Women’s Singles quarter-finals scheduled to be played on November 14 Joseph Roshita will meet Kaushalya Vidanagama in the first quarter while Maduwanthi Gunadasa will battle with Arosha Wickramasinghe and in the third and fourth quarters R.A. D. M. Kanchanamala and Chalani Liyanage will meet Buddini Dias and Pavani Yasodha respectively.
