India Cultural Centre commemorates Gandhi birth
View(s):The India Cultural Centre, Colombo will organise Gandhi Jayanti – a programme to commemorate the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on October 2 at 6 p.m. at its auditorium 16/2 Gregory’s Road, Colombo 7.
The Gandhi Jayanti Celebrations are aimed at disseminating Gandhian philosophy, principles and beliefs. This day is also observed by the United Nations as the International Day of Non-Violence.
The Gandhi Jayanti Programme at ICC will begin by paying homage to the Father of Indian Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, following which there will be a cultural programme
