The Mina Foundation – the social service wing of the MINA Herbal House that promotes herbal medicine – will hold a two-day free seminar on October 11 and 12 for newlywed Muslim couples and those who are planning to get married in the near future.

Prominent Islamic scholars, academics, doctors and sociologists will address the seminar which also includes group discussions on problem-solving techniques.

“Today in our society, family conflicts and divorces are on the rise due to lack of understanding about meaningful family life. It is to avoid this pathetic situation, build up a healthy family life and create awareness among the young couples on the importance of peaceful family life that we are organising this seminar,” M.H.M. Nazeem, Mina Foundation President and Colombo University’s indigenous medicine senior lecturer, said.
