‘Sing & Swing’ with Rukshan and Sohan
View(s):‘Sing and Swing’, a sing along session with Rukshan Perera backed by Sohan and the X’ periments will be held at ‘The Balmoral’ of the Kingsbury Hotel on 21st of September at 7.00pm.
‘Sing and Swing’ is organised by the Inner Wheel Club of Colombo to raise funds for their charity projects in Maharagama and Dehiattakandiya. Inner wheel is an International women’s organization with a history of 90 years. The Inner Wheel Club of Colombo, District 322 was the first club to be formed in Sri Lanka in 1965. It is one of the country’s leading women’s service organizations with a history of nearly fifty years dedicated to the development and betterment of society.
The International Inner Wheel theme this year is ‘light the path’. ‘Our clubs two main community projects this year in keeping with this theme is renovation and refurbishment of the girls dormitory of Sucharithodaya Samaja Seva Sangamaya in Maharagama, Pamunuwa and the renovation and refurbishment of the existing building of the school library of the National College of Dehiattakandiya’ said a memeber of the organsing committee.
