View(s):Rupika Swarnalatha a budding star has already played in a number of films, teleplays and winning the hearts of her fans, Hailing from Welikanda started her acting career in school stage first played in film ‘Prawegaya’, and starred in ‘Maya’ and ‘Duwana Muwan’. She played in ‘Muthupalasa’ and ‘Surawimana teledramas she dreams to join films and teleplays.
“I like to play in good films and dramas and I am indebted to my music teacher Gamini Wanninayake, school principal J. Rajakaruna, Ven Vajiralankara there and others who helped to join the art and cinema,” Rupika said in an appreciative note.
