Jazz specialist Jim Glasson will come alive at the ‘Curve- tapas, bar, music’, at Park Street Mews on Thursdays starting from 10.00pm. Jim Glasson – Saxophonist will feature at Curve with the very popular smooth grooves of Jazz Projekt, along with the live entertainment during the week from Wednesdays to Saturdays.
Jim is no stranger to the local entertainment and jazz scene and now returning after a four month stint in London, performing at famous Ronnie Scott’s Jazz club and other venues, now performs at Curve Bar on Thursdays. He brings his smooth sounds and exceptional repertoire on sax to Curve Bar, from 10 pm onwards. Originally from Melbourne and working as a professional saxophonist and pianist at 17 yrs, his musical career extended from Sydney Australia to KL, Vietnam, Bangkok, London and Colombo. He has performed alongside the Australian jazz greats as James Morrison, Paul Grabowsky, Scott Tinkler, Bob Sedergreen and more. Toured Australia with The Temptations and the Four Tops.
Jim has experience on other genres, as rock, pop, Salsa, funk & R’n B. The weekly music scene at Curve Bar offers ‘Four Play’ on Wednesday, DJ Hitch on Fridays and ‘Missing Link’ on Saturdays from 10.00 pm onwards. With authentic Tapas and dinner specials along with premium spirits and exotic cocktails served. The Vault at the Curve features a unique Single Malt and Cigar Lounge for special celebrations or private gigs.
