Sri Lanka face Chinese Taipei today in a Group B match at 7.00pm SGT today. Sri Lanka is likely to face tough competition from Malaysia in this group but the other teams in Group B – Brunei, Chinese Taipei and Myanmar will not be push overs as they too have trained hard for the competition and are determined to do their best.

The skippers of the ten nations taking part in the competition had a photo shootout at the Singapore Sports Hub, where the competition will take place. Later the skippers had a practice session watched by ardent netball fans. Shashikala was the tallest player amongst them
As a part of the Schools Outreach Programme, Netball Singapore is offering a complimentary netball clinic conducted by Singapore National players to schools in Singapore. Netball players are interacting to inspire student netball players through this unique netball experience.
The competition is scheduled to commence with a grand opening ceremony and the opening game will be between Singapore and Japan at 1.00pm SGT, followed by Malaysia vs Brunei game at 3.00pm SGT.

Hong Kong will take on India at 5.00pm SGT which will be followed by the Sri Lanka vs Chinese Taipei game.
