Navy in 74 – 60 win over HSC Blacks
View(s):The Sri Lanka Navy posted a 74 to 60 points win over HSC Blacks in their Carlton Cup basketball Super 8 fixture that is now on at Pedris Park.
At the end of the first quarter the Navy led by 15 to 9 and at the half time they led by 39 to 24. When the third quarter ended Navy were still in the lead with 58 to HSC Black’s 45 and the final tally was 74 to 60 in favour of the Navy.
For the Navy the main scorers were D.D.D. Muthukudarachchi with 22 points and N. Civijic 17. Civijic also had 13 rebounds which was the highest and T.C. M. Perera had the highest assists which was 8.
For HSC Blacks, the best shooter was Andrew Alphonsus with 20 followed by T. Neydorff with 16.
E. Tviraga had the most rebounds which was 16, while T. Neydorff had the most assists which was 5. – BM
