Travel Trade Hardball Cricket
View(s):The 32nd Travel Trade Sports Club Hardball Cricket “Sixes”, sponsored by Cinnamon Grand Colombo for the 3rd successive year will be held on Sunday, August 3, 2014 at Thurstan College Grounds, commencing 8.30 am.
The Teams: Aitken Spence Travels (2013 winner), Vivantha by Taj Bentota (2013 Runners-up ). Cinnamon Grand Colombo, Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo, Cinnamon Wild Yala, Sri Lankan Airlines, Classic Travels and Hemas Travels.
The five special awards on offer are for the Best Batsman, Bowler, Most number of Sixes, Man of the Final and Man of the Tournament.
Last year at the same venue, Aitken Spence Travels scored a last ball win over Vivantha by Taj Bentota in the Final.
This will be the 4th event in the 2014 TTSC Sports Calendar, having completed the Bowling, The Pool and the Carom tournaments. – L.R.
