Sketches of hope
View(s):Last month the busiest city streets in Kandy were decked out in sketches on violence against women. The exhibition, “Sketches of Hope”, was part of a campaign organised by the Rotaract Club of Kandy, in a bid to create awareness on violence against women and help support the work of the Women’s Development Centre (WDC). The WDC provides temporary shelter and support systems for abused and marginalised women island-wide.
