Mika Singh and his crew, introduced to the excited Sri Lankan audience as the Out of Control Punjabi Boys, brought Bhangra to town at the BMICH last Saturday.

The prominent Bollywood musician whose hits have lent life to many a Bollywood blockbuster has even had cricket fans on their feet with his beats when his Ragad Ragad Humma was featured as the anthem for the Champions League T20 in 2013.

Serious fans of the Bollywood industry and much of the Punjabi community in Sri Lanka were among the audience for Singh’s Sri Lankan appearance and were not disappointed with the hits he performed on stage.

The flair and flamboyance of the movies wasn’t overlooked when Mika was joined by a very energetic dance troupe from IMZYS Dance Loft to entertain an equally energetic audience. With his infusion pop, rap and folk-style singing, the ‘Singh Is King’ star had the audience dancing from the very first number.
Mika’s show was presented by Wizcraft Colombo.
