HNB and Unichela through to finals
Hatton National Bank and MAS Unichela booked their berths to play in the Final of the Bharti Airtel sponsored MCA Tier ‘A’ Super T20 tournament to be played today at the MCA grounds.
In the First semi-final HNB beat MAS Active by 25 runs yesterday due to two notable performances by Kosala Kulasekera (54 n.o.) and Saman Jayantha (4 for 33) while in the second semi-final MAS Unichela scored an easy 54 run win over Sampath Bank.
Sri Lanka cap Tillekaratne Dilshan scored an attacking 66 with six sixes and three boundaries in 34 balls. Malinga Bandara bowled best for the winners claiming 2 for 27 to dismiss the bankers for 151.
1st semi-final: HNB beat MAS Active by 25 runs
