Ebert brothers Brendon and Darren shone in both batting and bowling departments in the drawn 37th Battle of Kotte between St. Thomas’ and Sri Jayawardenapura MV which concluded at the R. Premadasa Stadium yesterday.

However the Thomians who came into the game as favourites dominated the proceedings. After Brendon and Darren shared eight wickets between them bundled out their opponents for a paltry 101. Brendon cracked a half ton and Darren chipped in with 28 helping the Thomians, who were resuming on their overnight score of 16 for 1, to end their innings by making 192 for 8 declared.
