Schneider Electric holds ‘Xperience Efficiency’ event in SL

Colombo, Sri Lanka, recently played host to 400 key customers of Schneider Electric, a part of the company’s “Xperience Efficiency” event series.

According to a statement; “Xperience Efficiency is a set of events by Schneider Electric that take on the energy demand drivers that are forcing change: economic and government re-balancing, urbanisation, digitisation and sustainable resources. By looking at the latest integrated energy trends and sustainability solutions that will transform how we all live, work, learn and play, Xperience Efficiency shows the future of energy efficiency. Solutions will deliver energy management, energy access, and business process performance answers right across the energy chain, whether at home, at work, across the grid, or in towns and cities”.

The statement also added; “The event [began] with insightful sessions by Schneider Electric experts sessions addressing energy problems, industry trends and innovative solutions. An interactive marketplace was also on display showcasing the latest developments in systems, solutions and technology. Solutions across business segments of Schneider Electric i.e. Power, Lifespace, Buildings, Industry, Energy and IT were showcased. The SmartGrid model was a focal point of interest as was Acti 9 with its Smartlink communication module which uses one-click, prefabricated wiring for easy, error-proof communication between a customers distribution panels and any facility management system”.

Quoted in the statement, the company’s Country President for Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and the Maldives, Pradeep Saikia, commented “Sri Lanka has always been a key market for Schneider Electric and we have been operating in the region since 2001 to provide expertise towards energy management solutions. It is evident that the total energy requirement in Sri Lanka is set to grow significantly and there is an urgent need to find means to meet this increasing demand. Schneider Electric provides a solution to this by offering energy efficient products which help in managing energy consumption effectively.
