The victims were travelling from Horana to Anuradhapura when the incident took place. Nine others in the same vehicle sustained injuries and were removed to the Anuradhapura Hospital. One person was killed and 18 injured when a Kandy-Panadura private bus and coach collided at Bingiriya, police said.
