Maheshi Navodika launches her 2nd Poetry Book -“Nisala Vilthera”

Presenting the book to the Principal Mrs. Sandamali Aviruppola of Vishaka Vidyalaya
Vilthera” on 13th February, 2013. The first copy of book was presented to the Minister of Education Hon.Bandula Gunawardena and the college principal Mrs. Sandamali Aviruppola at the Education Ministry.
Maheshi is launched her maiden poetry book “Sandawathiya Paayala” on 5th December, 2011 and this is her second book contains many interesting incidents which she experienced around her in the present society.
She is not only a poet but also a popular character in her school. She had won so many award and medals in several extracurricular activities. She emerged the 1st place in the All Island “Paali Padya Gayana” competition in 2012 and got a chance to participate in the Indian Tour. She is also a girl scout of Vishaka B.M.V. She participates in many science day, language day and cultural day competitions and emerges several provincial and Island level victories.Her ambition in life is to be a significant citizen to the nation.
