Italian Premier for ‘With You, Without You’
View(s):‘Oba Nathuwa Oba Ekka’ (With You, Without You) which won the Cyclo D’Or at the 19th edition of the International Film Festival of Asian Cinema (FICA) last month in Vesoul, France will have its Italian premier at 23rd African, Asian and Latin American international Film Festival of Milano from May 4 to 10.
Director Prasanna Vithanage’s latest and seventh feature is a bilingual film (Sinhala and Tamil) which stars Shyam Fernandom Indian actress Anjali Patil, Wasantha Moragoda and Maheshwari Ratnam. M. D. Mahindapala is the cinematographer, A. Sreeker Prasad-editor, Lakshman Joshep De Saram-musical score Tapas Nayak- sound designer and Rob Nevis- production designer are in the technical crew of the film.
Daminda D. Madawala is the assistant director and Ebert Wijesinghe handed the make-up. A co-production between India and Sri Lanka, Lasantha Nawarathna and Mohamed Adamaly produced ‘Oba Nathuwa Oba Ekka’. The team of executive producers included Rahul Roy, Iranthi Abeysinghe, Sunil Fonseka and Nadira Adamaly.
