The National Insurance Trust Fund which provides insurance coverage for more than 650,000 government beneficiaries has joined with state-owned Lanka Hospitals by issuing an electronic card for Agrahara beneficiaries.

As an extension of the existing 3-year old partnership between the two sides, the Agrahara Fund has introduced an electronic card which contains all personal details of beneficiaries and where they can obtain Lanka Hospitals’ services, the hospital company said.

Chairman of Agrahara Fund D. Widanagamaachchi said, “We considered Lanka Hospitals for this partnership because of many important reasons, a few of them being, the Lanka Hospitals is the only government-owned private hospital.”

Lanka Hospitals CEO Lakith Peiris said under this partnership, Agrahara beneficiaries can enjoy Lanka Hospital facilities with the lowest room rates with a 10 per cent discount, 10 per cent discount for inpatient laboratory investigations, 15 per cent special discount for outpatient laboratory services and 5 per cent discount for radiology investigations, etc.
