Sheffield Hallam University (SHU) offers a range of scholarships for both undergraduate and postgraduate studies in the UK. They range from full tuition fee waiver to partial funding.

These scholarships are awarded to well-qualified students who demonstrate academic, personal or professional achievement on their scholarship application form. The decisions on scholarships are taken by jury members and hence your application should speak for you.

Scholarships offered are:

Transform Together Scholarship: a one-year full tuition fee waiver for full-time taught postgraduate courses 50% tuition fee discount for each year of an undergraduate course, subject to successful progression for postgraduate programmes
Subject Specific Scholarship:

We are also offering a number of subject specific scholarships all worth £5,000 towards your course fee for your first year of study. The scholarships are for courses that start in September or January and are open to undergraduate or postgraduate students. The scholarships are for: art and design courses engineering courses media and communications courses the MSc in Big Data Analytics

The bursaries are applied automatically and you don’t have to complete an application form. =Do not substitute your
personal statement or statement of purpose for answering the questions in the application.
=Keep your language simple and correct.
=Question on “Future Plans”, should indicate that you have a well thought out future plan. We would like to hear more about your career progression. We are not looking for specifics on the company name or salary.
=Questions on “Voluntary activity/unpaid work”: this could include internships as part of your course, part time work, and charitable work too.
