‘Sokari’, an old folk drama in Sri Lanka, which was formed according to the rural traditions of Shanthikarmas that were performed to goddess Paththini seeking fertility and prosperity, will be staged on Sunday December 2 at 3.30 pm and 6.45 pm at Borella Namel Malani Punchi Theatre.

This condensed version of Sokari which runs for two hours and thirty minutes covers the important features of a full Sokari which runs for 7 nights.

This play is directed by award winning director Jaliya Rajapakshe and the main organizer is Jude Srimal. All seats have been box planned and tickets are now available at the Namel Malini Punchi Theatre.
