New company Cue Theatre Co. makes their debut presenting “A Tale of a Man and a Monster” an adaptation of the “Hunchback of Notre Dame”. Through song and dance, the cast takes the audience along one man’s journey into the forbidden, where destiny and fate collide unravelling the hidden secrets behind his past and his every belief.

“It’s about a battle between two men; the good and the evil, the fair and the foul; lust and love – one epic tale that will keep you enthralled and leave you seeing the light within the Man and the Monster,” says director, Ranga Jayaratne.
‘Cue theatre co.’ was formed in January this year.

“Though we have been performing dramas like the “Beauty and the Beast” before, this is our first public production under this name. We have 25 member actors,” says Ranga.

“A Tale of a Man and a Monster” will be staged on October 20, at 7 p.m. at the Bishop’s College auditorium. Tickets are priced at Rs. 450, 500, 750, 1000 and 1500 and are available at the venue. For prior reservations contact Ranga on 0779093744
