‘Meeyo’ in Punchi Theater
View(s):A hilarious stage play ‘Meeyo Nathuwa Be’ (Can’t without mice), directed by Keerthi K. Rathnayaka will be staged on October 16 at 3.30 p.m. and 6.45 p.m. at the Namel Malani Punchi theater in Borella.
With some veteran names in the stage the cast include Ravindra Yasas, Madini Malwatte, Sudharshana Bandara, Wasantha Vittachchi, Keerthi K. Rathnayake, Mahesh Umagiliya, Ishara Wickrarnasinghe, Sumith Warnakula, Chamari Nisansala, Nayana Malithi, Ruvini Dilanthi, Devran Levera, Aruna Sri Kasun and Chanidu Theniya Rathnayake.
Pradeep Muthukudaarachchi directed music while stage settings is handled by Roshan Warnakulasooriya.
Chandana Nishantha and Susantha Kahandawalaarachchi will manage the stage and costume designing by Suwinitha Perera. With Wasantha Wittachchi’s make up and Saman Malalasekaras’ lighting effects ‘Meeyo Nethuwa Be’ is organized by Jude Srimal.
