Junior National Boxing finals today

The finals of the Junior National Boxing Championships will be worked off from 5.00 p.m. onwards today at the Royal College boxing ring at Reid Avenue.

The semi-finals were worked off yesterday and prominent young boxers from Trinity, Kingswood, Nalanda, Sri Sumangala Panadura, Vidyartha, Royal Colombo and MAS Unichela qualified to contest in the finals.

The boxing meet which began on February 9 saw pugilists from 23 schools and clubs comprising of over 120 boxers vying for honours in the 11 bouts which is scheduled to be worked off. -MSA
