India has expressed concern over Sri Lanka's new visa rules, particularly the US$ 50 processing fee, and urged that it be reduced. India's is Sri Lanka's biggest inbound travel market, followed by Britain.

President Mahinda Rajapaksa will leave on Tuesday for Australia leading Sri Lanka's delegation to the three-day Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Perth, Australia beginning October 28. Among those accompanying him will be External Affairs Minister G.L. Peiris and Presidential Secretary Lalith Weeratunga.
