MJ:The rise and the fall

The other day I found myself watching Beat It, one of the many old Michael Jackson video clips we were treated to as the anniversary of the singer’s death rolled by. MAS ‘Thirasara Leisure Village’

MAS Fabric Park (MFP) in Thulhiriya was almost an abandoned property since 2003. It was started as State owned Thulhiriya Textile Mill in 1968 and later was privatized to Bombay Dyne in 1980 and later to Kabool Lanka in 1980 till 2003. This 165 acre green commercial property was rescued by MAS Holdings to set up Lanka’s first green fabric park.
