South Asian CIO Summit held in SL

The Cinnamon Lakeside Hotel in Colombo, Sri Lanka, recently hosted this year's leg of the "South Asian CIO Summit", a three-day gathering of 'major technology players' which explored "the role of IT and its importance in today's organisations"; according to a statement by event sponsor Novell.

Further, again according to Novell's statement, at the summit "Novell specifically raised the topic of the role of the CIO within an organisation, who increasingly is becoming a critical leader that can drive innovation and productivity, through smart implementations of technology".
