‘Dinner Game’ at Alliance

The French cinematic adaptation of theatrical play ‘The Dinner Game’ (Le dîner des cons) will be screened at 3 pm on Tuesday July 28 and at 6.30 pm on July 29 at Alliance Francaise.

Drected by Francis Veber, the film was released in 1998. Pierre Brochant (Thierry Lhermitte), a famous Parisian publisher, attends a weekly “idiots’ dinner”, where guests, who are prominent Parisian businessmen, must bring along an “idiot” of whom the other invitees can make fun. At the end of the dinner, the evening’s champion idiot is selected.
