‘Sokari’ celebrates golden jubilee

‘Sokar’ old folk drama made in to the modern theatre produced by award winning playwright Jaliya Rajapaksa will have four performances at Elphinstone Theatre on Wednesday June 17.

A drama approved for grade 9 Sinhala subject and GCE Ordinary Level and Advanced Level syllabus will be shown at 8 am, 11.30 am and 3.30pm and 6.45 pm.

The 50th show of the play produced by Presidential Award winner Jaliya Rajapaksa, the stage management of the play is by Saman Gamini and music directed by Shamila Rajapaksa.
