Jeff Schucroft Sri Lanka's body building doyen was elected the first ever Sri Lankan to the post of President of the South Asian Body Building and Fitness Federation.
The first obstacle that Jeff contacted was the lack of finances in the South Asian body.
However not easily outdone, Jeff set upon a fund raising campaign with a personal contribution of U.S.$ 1000 and managed to raise U.S. $10,000 from the rest of the delegates to ensure that the South Asian Body Building Association's Bank Balance was healthy. In the process Jeff, has made all arrangements to hold the 7th and 8th South Asian Body Building championships in Nepal in 2010 and Bhutan in 2011 respectively, thus ensuring that there is no lull in activities in the south Asian region during his term of office which expires in 2011. |
