Ruhunu Development wins at athletics |
ThRuhunu Development Bank took the major honours at the Inter Development Bank Sports Meet that was held at Uyanwatte Stadium, Matara.
The overall championship and also the athletic trophy was won by Ruhunu Development Bank with a score of 427 followed by Wayamba and Sabaragamuwa Development Banks with respective scores of 393 and 257.
Dilan Anthony of Ruhunu Development Bank and L.S Piyasena of Wayamba Development Bank won the Athlete of the Tournament given away for Men and Women respectively.
Around 2000 athletes and staff of Ruhunu, Rajarata, Wayamba, Sabaragamuwa, Kandurata and Uva Development Banks participated at this annual event. |
