Angelo cracks career best knock of 270 Inter-Provincial Tournament

Angelo Mathews cracked a career best knock of 270 helping Basnahira North to amass a mammoth score of 563 for 8 declared on day three of their Inter-Provincial cricket tournament encounter against Kandurata played at the SSC ground yesterday.

Angelo’s swashbuckling knock took him 472 balls which comprised 23 boundaries and three sixes. His previous best innings was a 168 for Colts in a Premier Tier ‘A’ encounter in December last year.
