Mandara for aquatic Adventure

Aquatic adventure is the latest craze of the adventure travellers of Sri Lanka. Whale and Dolphin watching off South coast has become more and more popular. To the much splendour of Sri Lanka, Whale and Dolphin watching off southern coast paved the way to attract the world of ‘Whale and Dolphin watchers’ to Sri Lanka.

Mirissa is no longer a traditionally ‘fisherman's haven’. It has become the paradise of rich high end people. A couple of luxury boutique hotels have come up in the beautiful hill side of Mirissa, creating more opportunities to the people of the area.

Serious enthusiasts' have been on the watch out since October and Whale and Dolphin sightings are now most frequent and is set to peak in December - January and again in April. Madara Resort is the latest addition to the luxury living in Mirissa. Over looking famous 'Read Cliff Mountains', Mirissa Bay and neighboring Pollathu Modara river, Mandara Resort is a twenty suite luxury hotel, located on north point of the bay.

All rooms are extravagantly furnished en suites with private plunge pools / Jacuzzi. Each room is different in layout and decor equipped with full of luxury and convenience, with cable TV, DVD/CD player, home theater systems, and internet (Wi-fi enabled) along with other facilities.

Mandara Resort is the only place in South with fiber Optic lighting in the swimming pool. Restaurant, bar and coffee shop give the boost to the specialized Southern cuisine at the hotel.

Basically we do not have any meal time. Whenever a guest wants a meal at any place according to his/her wish, the staff is ready to serve. We practice customer satisfaction to the dot' he added.

The management of the Hotel arrange excursions upon request.

‘Whale and Dolphin watching, Fishing trips, boat rides in the river, sightseeing to Galle Fort, village tours, Kalametiya bird sanctuary and wildlife adventure tours are some of the popular tours' he added.
