Scientific Facts of Human life. (Minis Jeevithaye Vidyathmaka Thathu) Young Priyanthi Thiranagama of Wijaya Newspapers Ltd. launched her first book titled ‘Minis Jeevithaye Vidyathmaka Thathu’ — ( Scientific Facts of Human Life), a collection of 22 articles that she had contributed to the science section of the daily Lankadipa some moons ago.

Priyanthi’s debut is a praiseworthy effort to provide something of worth. To the knowledge -hungry reader Priyanthi communicates matters of day-to-day subjects and even scientific matters. Her writings are based on research done on the human mind and body.

The book comprises 22 chapters on various themes like How one can be happy, Why women are noted for forgetfulness, Secrecy of feminine obstinacy, What dreams tell us about sex activity of humans, That women now dare to invade men’s ambits etc.

Priyanthi explains, for instance, why men like games while some of their counterparts’ preoccupation is to waste time on a phone.

Among other things she asks why women resent new equipment when men love them, explains how sleeplessness affects the mind, questions why body/mind pain causes resentment in life, explodes the myth that meat eating is a dire necessity, discusses methods of meditation etc .
