LTTE promises 'good behaviour'
The LTTE yesterday agreed to abide by provisions in a recent agreement reached with the Sri Lanka Monitoring Mission for sea movement between the north and east.

Moragoda in India
Minister Milinda Moragoda last evening left for India to brief leaders there of the latest developments in the peace process, a ministry spokesman said.

He said Mr. Moragoda would meet Defence Minister George Fernandes, Foreign Minister Yashwant Sinha, Finance Minister Jaswant Singh, Information Technology Minister Pramod. Mahajan and advisors to Indian Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee.

PoW swap before peace talks

An exchange of prisoners between the government and the LTTE is due to take place ahead of the proposed peace talks as a further confidence-building measure between the two sides.
