RIUNIT Forum on real estate future
View(s):The Research Intelligence Unit (RIUNIT) is hosting Driving Growth Through Real Estate: 10 Year Plan — a high-level forum bringing together some of the country’s most influential voices in property, investment, policy and urban development on May 5 at the Port City Sales Gallery in Port City Colombo.
The forum is the first in a series of planned sessions under RIUNIT’s 10-year real estate roadmap. Discussions will cover how Sri Lanka can claim a larger share of global real estate investment, how Port City can be positioned as a genuine investment magnet, and what a people-first approach to residential real estate might actually look like in practice, RIUNIT said in a media release.
“This isn’t just another industry conference,” said Roshan Madawela, Founder and CEO of RIUNIT. “We want this to be the beginning of a structured, long-term plan that seeks to establish Sri Lanka as a leading international real estate investment destination that will attract a significant share of the estimated one trillion USD of institutional real estate investment in 2026.”
