Entries for Ceylon Masters International close on May 30
The prospectus for the Ceylon Masters International Badminton Championship 2026 has now been released and is available for viewing on the ceylonmasters.lk, website. The event is due to take place from June 25 to 29 at the St. Joseph’s College Indoor Sports Complex in Darley Road.
A galaxy of master’s badminton players, both local and international, are due to participate and Ceylon Masters Badminton (CMB) are having no stone unturned to make it a huge success. All arrangements are now underway to provide all participants the facilities required to conveniently access the venue and use the many amenities on site as they prepare to compete vigorously for honours and attractive prize money.

Foreign entrants are offered easy transport connections from the Bandaranaike International Airport to hotels in Colombo and other accommodation, as well as a shuttle service to the venue and back during the match days.
“All players must be registered with CMB using the portal www.ceylonmasters.lk/login and submit the entry. There are no other platform to submit entries. Only paid entries submitted through the portal will be considered for the draw. The CMB player registration and identity number is compulsory for both local foreign players,” an official of CMB stated.
Entries will be accepted up to May 30 at the Ceylon Masters Badminton office or its online portal with the seeding report publication due on June 15. The organisers have given a grace period up until June 18 with withdrawals, which has to be made officially through a written document. The draw will take place on June 20 and will be streamed live on the Ceylon Masters Badminton facebook platform.
In 2025 over 350 international shuttlers from leading badminton-playing nations, including Sri Lanka, featured in the Ceylon Masters International Badminton Championship 2025, which took place at the St. Joseph’s College Indoor Complex at Darley Road in Colombo from June 6 to 9. The flagship international competition hosted annually by Ceylon Masters Badminton, annually attracts players of the age category of 35 and in addition to the competitive background, the tournament also provides the opportunity to give international participants a glimpse of Sri Lanka’s beauty as a tourist destination.
