A low-floor bus service designed for persons with disabilities and special needs was officially launched on Tuesday at the Makumbura Multimodal Transport hub with 122 such buses expected to be deployed by the end of the year and plans to expand the service beyond Colombo to cities such as Kandy, Batticaloa, Matara and Jaffna.
