ICAM ABACUS proudly hosted its Annual National Championship and Graduation Ceremony at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium, bringing together over 2,800 students from more than 80 branches across Sri Lanka, along with three special participants from India—celebrating 16 years of excellence in abacus education. The prestigious event was graced by distinguished international leaders in the field of abacus education, including Xu Gongcai (China), Eiichi Kornime (Japan), and Ujjwal Panda (India), alongside notable local dignitaries such as Sulochana Ashokkumar from the Ministry of Trade and M. Thilakasiri, Senior Management Consultant.
The young participants demonstrated remarkable mental agility, focus, and confidence, reflecting both the effectiveness of the abacus training and their dedication throughout the learning journey. Each child walked away with a certificate and a trophy in recognition of their efforts and achievements. The event was a vibrant celebration of academic and skill-based excellence, while also honouring the commitment of students, teachers, and parents who have contributed to the programme’s continued success. The stadium was filled with pride and joy as families gathered to witness the exceptional progress and performances of their children.
