EWIS AEGIS to replace outdated tech

He said it is a patented product and the company will go international with it.
EWIS AEGIS brings a simulation-first approach which means organisations can test and check planned changes before making them in real systems. “By doing this, they can reduce the risks, costs, and disruptions that often come with major system updates,” Isuru Dissanayake, Chief Technology Officer EWIS told the Sunday Times Business on the sidelines of a presentation on EWIS AEGIS. He added that AEGIS deploys AI agents that automatically analyse and simplify the legacy systems. “Code intelligence to extract and structure legacy system logic, dependency mapping to uncover hidden system relationships and risks, and digital twin simulation to replicate systems and validate behaviour before any changes are made. It also incorporates automated transformation to enable a seamless transition to modern architectures, alongside AI-powered testing to ensure accuracy and maintain data integrity throughout the process.”
Mr. Wickramanayake said that the platform helps organisations take control of their system transformations. “It speeds up modernisation by finding issues sooner, before they become bigger problems. In mission-critical environments, it helps reduce downtime and keep systems running.” He added that this product can greatly lower the risks linked to upgrading old and archaic systems. Costs more predictable and AEGIS cuts down on rework by catching problems early, he said noting that it lowers failure rates, which helps avoid setbacks during the transformation. Overall, it supports a transformation process that is more efficient, more reliable, and easier, he noted.
