‘70 Years | 70 Faces’ celebrates Lanka, Swiss ties
View(s):To celebrate 70 years of diplomatic relations between Switzerland and Sri Lanka, the Embassy of Switzerland in Colombo will present ‘70 Years | 70 Faces’, an exhibition honouring the individuals who have contributed to this enduring relationship.
“‘70 Years | 70 Faces’ shares the stories of people who stood with us and left a lasting mark over seven decades of Swiss–Sri Lankan cooperation. Through photographs, exhibition panels, and personal testimonials, the exhibition highlights the individuals whose efforts have strengthened bilateral ties and inspired shared achievements,” the Switzerland Embassy said in a press release.
The exhibition will be open to the public from 7–14 March 2026 at Radicle Gallery, De Mel Building, 103 Chatham Street, Colombo -1, daily from 09:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., inviting visitors to explore seven decades of shared history and collaboration.
The Embassy of Switzerland in Sri Lanka marks 70 years of diplomatic relations between Switzerland and Sri Lanka. Since 1956, the two countries have shared a strong partnership across diplomacy, trade, culture, and education, built on mutual respect, collaboration, and friendship.
