Now after months in the making, the show is finally here- the much-awaited Masterchef Sri Lanka! Launching last weekend under the theme ‘Taking
Sri Lanka on a Plate to the World’, viewers are already all agog as the competition gets underway and the contestants (pictured on our Magazine cover with the judges and show’s producers) bring their best culinary skills to the table.
It’s happening: Peter Kuruvita speaks at the press conference last week with the other judges, Rohan Fernandopulle, Sav Perera and Kapila Jayasinghe, while Cinnamon Life City of Dreams GM Kamal Munasinghe.
The judges need no introduction – all with remarkable expertise and distinctive flair in the culinary sphere; Peter Kuruvita, Sav (Savindri) Perera (herself a Masterchef Australia contestant), Rohan Fernandopulle and Kapila Jayasinghe.
Masterchef Sri Lanka is a production by Reality TV Productions Pvt Ltd in partnership with Cinnamon Hotels and Resorts. Joining with main sponsor CBL Group are an impressive array of leading brands.
The custom-built Masterchef kitchen at the Cinnamon Grand in typical Masterchef style is where the action unfolds and where contestants will experience all the drama – the thrills and spills, the tears and smiles as they tell their own individual stories and present their very own dishes.
